I am the Fundraising Chair for Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., TQZ chapter in Towson, MD, and the Special Events Coordinator for The Friends of Library Square, a non-profit community association in East Baltimore. Both of these positions allow me to book entertainment for fundraising events and community events. For over the past five years the Spice Band has been my group of choice to hire at events. First of all, they give a crowd a pleasing performance that never let's the audience down. Their musical repertoire includes jazz, pop, 70’s, latin and dance music. They have a great appeal and last summer their performance in Library Square in June was so well received that the community asked me to have them back again in August! The second great thing about this band is their dependability. They are extremely professional and always on time. Thirdly, they are affordable. With the Spice Band you get great entertainment at a reasonable cost. If you’re looking for the BEST in live entertainment, you can’t go wrong when you hire the Spice Band!

My name is Larry Griffin and I am the Founder and President of We Care and Friends, a non-profit organization started in 1990 to help the under-served population of Annapolis.
I am writing this letter in support of the jazz band SPICE. I have known Jesse Powers for many years and I’m also a musician and have been in the music industry for over thirty years. SPICE has a smooth yet unique sound that penetrates the soul when they perform. I have personally performed with the band, SPICE. As creator of the Whitmore Park Concert series in Annapolis, Maryland, I ensured that the band SPICE performed in the concert series every year for more than a decade.
SPICE, in my humble opinion, is an outstanding band that gives the audience a dynamic performance every time they step onto any stage. SPICE carries such high enthusiasm and they are a pleasure to work with. They are truly professional and definitely have my highest recommendation.
